Attorney Trachelle Young

with over 28 years of legal experience serving Flint and Genesee County. Flint native and U.S. Army JAG Corps veteran, Attorney Trachelle Young has spent nearly three decades serving the people of Genesee County. As a former City Prosecutor and Assistant County Prosecutor, she brings unmatched courtroom experience and a deep commitment to justice. Her leadership, compassion, and sharp legal insight have earned her a respected name in criminal defense, civil rights, and personal injury law.

Attorney Curtis Young

Attorney Curtis Young was born to two proud military parents, instilling in him a lifelong sense of discipline, service, and integrity. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with an MBA, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. His early legal career included serving as an Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County, where he gained critical courtroom experience and a deeper commitment to justice. A devoted member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he cherishes the values of good deeds, academic excellence, and fellowship with all. Today, Attorney Curtis  Young practices law in Flint, Michigan, at the Young & Young Law Firm PLLC, located at 4442 Beecher Road, where he works alongside his mother—Attorney Trachelle Young who has over 28 years of legal experience. Both Attorneys have experience as former  prosecutors which has strengthened their knowledge of the court system. Overall, the Young & Young Law Firm is deeply committed to community empowerment by providing high quality legal services to those in need.  This includes those who are underrepresented in the justice system. Currently, Attorney Curtis Young focuses his practice on criminal law, ensuring quality representation for those too often overlooked in the legal system. He is equally passionate about business and contract law, helping entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses safeguard their assets and grow their brands. Above all, he remains a man of family, faith, and purpose, dedicated to uplifting others through his profession.
